Happich Simichrome polish
UK distributors
Increase the value of your jewellery with a positive
Bakelite test. A superior polish for plastic and metal surfaces.
Happich Simichrome
(made in Germany) is a well recognised test for the
authenticity of Bakelite. Dab a small amount on a
cotton bud and rub the surface of a clean item. If the
polish on the bud turns a yellowish tone, the item tests
positively for genuine Bakelite. If it remains pink in
colour, it is most likely a differently formulated
plastic.
Simichrome
brings a brilliant shine to any uncoated, non-ferrous
metal surface: brass, gold, silver, aluminium,
magnesium, pewter, chrome, sterling, copper, stainless
steel - without scratching.
It is especially good for plastics, including polishing
Bakelite and even Plexiglass.
Simichrome
is a paste polish which produces a beautiful high finish
with very little effort.
Simply rub on with a soft cloth and rub off to obtain a
brilliant lustre. It makes chain polishing very easy.
Simichrome removes tarnish, dirt and oils, and
generally renews polished metal surfaces. It leaves a
protective film which retards oxidation.
Simichrome works great for antique jewellery,
motorcycles,
automotive cleaning, gun and
knifes, and other general home use. On the web, it is
recommended for many items, including golf clubs,
buttons, ipods, and guitar trim. It is the perfect product to polish tool and die moulds, extrusion
dies, anywhere an ultra fine final polishing is
required.
Simichrome is a unique, non-toxic and
non-corrosive compound and the abrasive particle size is
8 to 10 microns. The shelf life is about five years
stored cool and dry. Before use, please read and follow
the caution instructions on the box and the tube.
Simichrome is available in a convenient 50 gram
tube. It can also be ordered in cans of 250 grams -
details on request.
