TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Returns policy

	We want all our customers to be happy with their choices. Therefore, we operate a no quibble return policy. Just return any unwanted item within 4 days of receiving it and we will refund your account on receipt of the merchandise, as long as it is in the original condition. We cannot, however, refund the cost of the return postage.
	Please re-use the original packaging to return the item, so it arrives safely.
	If you want to include your reason for returning the item, we would be happy to hear it, especially if it gives us the opportunity to improve our service.

Payment Options

	We prefer our customers to use pay pal.
	However, a personal cheque is acceptable. In that event, please email your order to us and we will mark the item(s) as reserved until the cheque clears.
	Currently we are posting to UK and EU destinations only.

Over sold items

	All the items offered are collected individually. Except in exceptional cases, we only stock one of each jewellery item on offer.
	It might happen, in rare cases, that two customers order the same item before it can be taken off the available list. If this happens, we will operate on a first come, first serve basis.
	We will endeavour to find a similar item as soon as we can, and we will reserve that item until the customer has the opportunity to see if it is suitable substitute. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that a similar item will be found.

Vintage Condition

	All of our jewellery is offered in 'vintage condition', which means there may be some signs of wear. We will to be as careful as possible in describing any irregularities, as we don't want our customers to be disappointed when they receive their goods.
	We do repair damaged jewellery. It is sometimes not possible or practical to use original findings and materials, so repairs may use modern materials.

Vintage vs Retro

	Whenever possible we try to ensure that our jewellery is genuinely vintage, that it was made during the time it most closely represents.
	However, it is sometimes very difficult to distinguish an original vintage item from a good replica, or retro costume jewellery.

Earring Hygiene

All our pierced earrings are cleaned and sterilised using an autoclave method.

Photography

	We make every attempt for our photos to be as accurate as possible in terms of detail and colours (transparent and translucent colours will inevitably take on the background colour).
	Our photos, however, are not to scale. Please check the measurements in the description section for the size of the item.
